As long as the oil is rated as 'JASO MA' it can be used. I have read on other Goldwing forums that members have been pleased.
Below is from the Shell site.

    Shell Rotella

I've been using Shell Rotella in all of my road bikes for about 10 years with no problems. No leaks, no oil burning, no need to add oil between changes. From what I've found on other forums it's a popular oil to use on road bikes

I agree, very good oil. I use Honda stuff because I live nearby a dealership. If I were looking at the aftermarket, Rotella is what I'd use. I was a Valkyrie owner like yourself and I liked Rotella in that bike.
